Dry salt therapy, or halotherapy, is beneficial to both children and adults. Salt therapy is a non-invasive session that is all about relaxation and health enhancement. Airway cleansing, congestion relief, skin refreshment, and inflammation reduction are some of the featured benefits. Stress release in a calm ambiance can leave you with an overall sense of well-being. The use of Dry salt therapy could also help alleviate symptoms of respiratory problems, allergies and other ailments which may be experienced.
What to expect of The Salt Experience at the Wellcome OM Center? After making your appointment, you will be seated in the room with relaxing music, and handed an eye pillow as a precursor to relaxation. Therapeutic grade salt fills the room around you in this one of a kind experience. As these particles are released, they are inhaled by nose and/or mouth to pick up bacteria and pollutants, that can then be expelled by the body. Breathing passages can open up! Salt that is not inhaled falls onto the skin and is absorbed topically. Dry salt therapy will NOT increase your blood pressure. It may even reduce high blood pressure during a session that is beneficial to the body.
The Salt Room is now available at The WellCome OM Center by appointment. Introductory offers are being announced to encourage for first time experiences at a discounted rate of $25 per 45 minute session. Monthly membership is a large savings for regular clients over a single priced session.
