Salt Room Therapy Logo

Leave your everyday stressors behind and come enjoy the benefits of Dry Salt Therapy in our very own Salt Cave. Salt Room Therapy is a non-invasive session that is all about relaxation and health enhancement. Airway cleansing, congestion relief, skin refreshment, and inflammation reduction are some of the featured benefits. Stress release in a calm ambiance can leave you with an overall sense of well-being.

Dry Salt Therapy utilizes a halogenerator to heat, crush, and grind salt into fine particles. That crushed salt, which is 99.99% Pure Grade Sodium Chloride, is then dispersed into the Salt Room using a dry spray aerosol.

As these particles are released, they are inhaled by nose and/or mouth to pick up bacteria and pollutants, that can then be expelled by the body. Breathing passages can open up!

Salt that is not inhaled falls onto the skin and is absorbed topically. Dry salt therapy will NOT increase your blood pressure. It may even reduce high blood pressure during a session that is beneficial to the body.

Super Cleanser

Dry salt is like a sponge that picks up foreign substances along its path through the respiratory tract. It removes the build-up of foreign elements that can cause respiratory conditions.

Anti-Inflammatory

Dry salt particles that are inhaled also may help in reducing inflammation in the respiratory tract, as well as widen the airway passages. These leaves a clean respiratory system that will help to increase oxygen intake, produce more energy, and strengthen the immune system.

Anti-Bacterial

The dry salt also acts as an anti-bacterial agent. It can dissolve pollutants and bacteria lodged in the respiratory tract, which is then either naturally expelled by the body or coughed up.

What’s a Salt Room Session Like?

The sessions are meant to be relaxing and calming. Upon entering the Salt Room, you can sit and recline, and the lights will dim. You can listen to relaxing music, read a book or magazine, meditate, or simply enjoy a peaceful rest.

The humidity and temperature of the Salt Room are controlled to give you the best experience so you can feel refreshed and rejuvenated after your session ends.

After your session, you might notice the taste of salt on your tongue or lips, which is normal. Salt that collects on your clothing is easily brushed off.

If you experience coughing or a runny nose after the session, that just means that your body is busy clearing out toxins and mucus.

Electronics and cell phones are not permitted in the room. Lockers are provided for storage of personal belongings.

Are There Any Side Effects?

The treatment is totally natural, and Salt Therapy has no potentially harmful side effects. Inhaling and absorption through the skin are very different from ingesting into the digestive system, so this therapy is fine for those on a low salt diet.  After a session, a slight cough or runny nose may be possible, but this simply means the salt is working to remove toxins and mucus from your airways and lungs.
